As many as 2,000 productive and protective trees will be planted in Ciracas City Forest, East Jakarta in the upcoming 2016.
I hope the environment quality could be better in future
According to Djoko Rianto, Head of Forestry Section, Jakarta Maritime, Agrilculture, and Food Security Department, the tree planting will be concentrated around river that borders with Public Cemetery (TPU).
"We will plant at least 2,000 trees. Due to the location borders with TPU, the Japanese Bamboo tree will be planted," he expressed, Sunday (12/13).
Ciracas City Forest Planted with 1,200 TreesPreviously, his side had planted 1,200 trees on last Friday (12/11), and will be added with 2,000 new trees.
"I hope the environment quality could be better in future," he hoped.
By doing so, it is also hoped able to anticipate people who often use the forest as waste disposal site.
"For maintenance, we sent four freelancer workers in the field, including two security officers," he finished.
